I'm a dad. That's my job title above all else. Although I work for a living, being a dad is my profession.
I have three sons who are my world entire. Their mom and I aren't together anymore. We couldn't work things out, one of the great failings of my life. But she and I both love our sons completely. She is a wonderful mother and I am proud to call her my friend.
This blog is about the humor, joy, and challenges of first, and foremost, being a parent. But this blog is also about being a single parent, which presents unique challenges because, most of the time, you have no backup. Being a single parent also means dating. Dating is the same as it was before you had kids, but it is also very, very different.
Whatever the subject du jour that I write about, my goal, most of the time, is to make you laugh, either with me or at me.
